    • Jeep earned International Championship and a group 2, and 3 group 3s, and Advanced Trick Dog Master Title. Trek earned 2nd le in Beginning Novice Obedience. Ellie earned TD-ROM. Which is a register of merit awarded to sire or dam whose ge earn an aggregate of 10 trick dog titles. This is the first one awarded.

    • “The Chocolates” both completed their championships in October at the Sioux Empire Kennel Club Shows in Sioux Falls, SD. Finishing their championship at 9mo old, helping their sire, GCHS CH Northwind’s Round House Kick “Norris” earn his ROMX

    • Sumac ‘N Trepak’s Free Fall (Sky) took back-to-back majors in Winona.

Beau & Jeep Rally Pairs – Qualified and 2nd, Jeep – Rally Advance – Qualified. Obedience Advanced – Qualified & 3rd. Rally Novice Team Qualified & 4th. Trek – Obedience Beginner Novice – Qualified & 1st. Quazar earned his B Cat, Jeep has 10 trick dog titles.

      Mesa and owner-handler Betty Qualified in 5 of 5 events and placed in each one! Mesa is now working at Level C, which allows for no faults to qualify.

      Jackpot Level CQ – 1st place [a Traditional Jackpot which means that the dog has to 1) accumulate a certain number of points (we needed 24 and accumulated 56) and then at the buzzer go and 2) work at a distance (other side of tape on the floor) from the handler. FIRST time she has done this successfully! She had to take a jump, A frame and 2 more jumps and NOT take the tunnel which was used as a distraction. All the while working away from handler following hand signals and voice commands. Also this is the first time running this event at Level C (which is a NO Fault level). Completed in 56.09 seconds (allowed 57.0).]

    • TCOTC Trick Dog Test At TCOTC in Minneapolis, Jeep [LadySlipper’s Star of Might, CGC,TKP, RATI] earned her Trick Dog Performer title

May 2019 News:

  • Randy Bebeau: The Bernese Mountain Dog Nationals held at Cragun’s this year and it went very well. 800 Berners were present. Agility held at On the Run. We now have a national specialty facility in MN.
  • Carolyn Kraskey: Finished 2 dogs. UKC championship on Brown Dog. Rudy finished AKC and UKC championships and took 2 group 3’s in the process.
  • Laurie Hanson: Vegas got his dock diving master. He absolutely loves it.
  • Sandy Reitsma: Eileen finished girl they own together at the Cleveland specialty with BW, and best bred by. Sandy is also associated with 3 of the 7 Siberians pictured AKC gazette May 2019 AKC Gazette.
  • Karen Godfrey: Karen took Stella and Chief to UKC. Both had fun. Stella took RBISPN for Stella. Trek sired puppies that are 5 weeks old and beautiful. Mesa qualified for CPE Agility Finals and is entered in 9 events.

He earned 24 points towards a future MACH title and placements in multiple events. Beau earned new titles in AKC agility (MJB) and CPE agility (CL3-F), staying on track for his “Title a Month” target. Then he got ahead of his ambitious schedule by earning his International Championship in IABCA conformation (IntCH), taking multiple Bests of Breed and Group placements.

      At On The Run CPE Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN Nov. 11th-12th:

      • SADIE Betty qualified and placed in three level 3 events: Snooker-1st place, Jackpot-2nd place, and Colors 3rd place.

      • GRETCHEN [LadySlipper’s Here For The Party, RATI] won Best of Breed and Group 2 in the fun match on the 7th, and was Winner’s Bitch in regular classes on the 8th.
    • At the Bales and Tails Barn Hunt held in conjunction with the Wright County Show in Hutchinson, MN, October 8th:
      • GRETCHEN [LadySlipper’s Here For The Party, RATI] qualified in the Instinct test, identifying the rat in 31.68 seconds out of the 60 allowed
    • At the Minnesota Mixed Breed Club CPE Agility event in Isanti, MN, October 16th:
      • SADIE [LadySlipper’s Cavalier Plumed Hat CL2] and Betty Gladfelter qualified in Colors with a third place/no faults. This finishes her requirement for her CL3-R. Sadie and Betty placed 2nd in their level 3 Jackpot run.
      • MESA [LadySlipper’s Blackberry Bramble CL1] and Betty qualified in Full-House level 2 with a first place, and Snooker level 2.
      • These were in a horse arena with dirt floors and horses in stalls along the side of the rings. There was much sniffing while running, and they still managed some pretty fast times.
    • At the TCVESSA AKC Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN, October 22-23rd:
      • BEAU [CH LadySlipper’s Top Hat And Tail MX, MXJ, CGC, RATI, RATO, TN-N, WV-N, NAC, NJC] qualified 3 out of 4 runs giving him another double Q and 12 points towards his MACH title.

      • SADIE [LadySlipper’s Cavalier Plumed Hat CL2] passed the Instict test, finding the rat in 24 sec out of the 60 allowed. She also qualified in the Novice hunt.
      • SADIE [LadySlipper’s Cavalier Plumed Hat CL2] earned her RATI by passing the Barn Hunt Instinct test in 24 seconds (60 seconds allowed). She also Qualified in Barn Hunt Novice.
    • At the Anoka Kennel Club Obedience Trial in Ham Lake, MN, September 24th-25th:
      • BEAU [CH LadySlipper’s Top Hat And Tail MX, MXJ, CGC, RATI, RATO, TN-N, WV-N, NAC, NJC] and Karen Sheahan made their Rally and Obedience debut this weekend qualifying both Saturday and Sunday in Rally Novice and winning second place Sunday with a score of 195. Sunday, Beau also qualified with first place in his first attempt in Beginner Novice Obedience.

      • Friday, Perry and Halo were part of an agility/ obedience demo at the State Fair.  It was a full day of demos and meet the breed, speaking to the public about the Keeshond.
      • Saturday and Sunday at Lake Elmo, Perry won best of breed with a Group 2 in the owner handler ring on Sunday.  Halo was winners dog, best of winners both days.  Saturday he was Best Puppy and won a Group 4.
    • Friday Sept 16th , Perry earned his ACT1 title and Q’d for one leg of his ACT2 at Agile Canines.  This is a beginner agility title similar to the beginner novice.
    • Saturday, Sept 17th at the Rochester show, Perry was Best of Breed and was awarded a Group 3 in the owner handler ring.  Halo was winners dog,
    • Sunday, Sept. 18th Perry was select dog.

    • Teddy (Sonbar’s Xactlyas Xpected) placed 4th at the Sunday LGRA races, ran in NOTRA for the first time and place 3rd (behind national top racers) earning 1.5 GRC points, 0.5 NRC point, and 1 JR point. He also achieved his RATN title at the Saturday barnhunt trials during the Summer Solstice Cluster. And achieved “Versatile Basenji” status through the Basenji Club of America.

    • At South Paws K9 Academy CPE Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN May 15th:
      • A big congratulations to Betty Gladfelter, Sadie, and Mesa on their qualifying CPE runs last weekend.
      • SADIE [LadySlipper’s Cavalier Plumed Hat CL2] and Betty Gladfelter had a great day running two events.  Sadie placed first Level 3 STANDARD with a no fault run. This finishes her requirement for her CL3-R. Sadie and Betty placed 2nd in their level 3 Jackpot run.
      • MESA [LadySlipper’s Blackberry Bramble] and Betty placed first in their level 2 Wild Card run with no faults. They completed 12 obstacles in 20.78 seconds beating out both a Sheltie and a Mini Aussie by a full 5 seconds ! Although not a qualifying run, Mesa aced the tire obstacle in Level 1 Jackpot, which had been her nemesis in a past trial. Proof below!

     At On The Run CPE Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN Feb. 28th: BEAU and his junior handler Emily placed in three Level 3 events: Standard, running 19 seconds under the course time — 1st place; Colors finished Level 3 — 2nd; and Wildcard — 3rd. All were NO FAULT runs!
     At On The Run CPE Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN Feb. 26th: SADIE and Betty Gladfelter ran Snooker Level 3 beautifully until Betty fell at the finish. Sadie finished the course then came back to check on Betty. They placed 2nd with 44 points (needed 30). Sadie ran Jumpers Level 3 with a substitute handler with NO FAULTS, only to DQ by running out of the ring without her leash on, looking for Betty. MESA ran Snooker Level 1 with a substitute handler whom Mesa met 10 minutes before their run. They placed 1st with 51 points (needed 26). They ran Jumpers Level 2 with NO FAULTS and placed 4th.
     At the Northstar Rottweiler Club AKC Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN Feb. 21st: BEAU earned 6 points towards a future MACH title.
