Our Club’s Community Actions
The Anoka County Minnesota Kennel Club has sponsored a new Dog Owner Subsidy Program (DSP) to local Veterinarians to assist with individual dog owners who need assistance with medical care costs for their pets. Funds from our Agility Trials are raised for this Program.
Dog Subsidy Program (DSP)
The purpose of this program is to give three area veterinarians the opportunity to assist individuals
unable to pay for proper and needed care for their dogs. Vets must be associated with current club members to be considered.
Program Chair: Laurie Hanson
Program was set up in 2021 using proceeds from the 2020 Agility show
From these proceeds, we created three $1,000.00 grants.
